The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a crew chief and technical authority, having custody of anassigned aircraft, with primary responsibility for performing, coordinating, and/or overseeing the maintenance andperiodic inspections to the assigned aircraft. Responsibilities - Serves as crew chief of assigned aircraft, responsible for performing, coordinating, and/or overseeing maintenance on the aircraft. - Performs aircraft inspections including preflight, postflight, phase, and other scheduled and unscheduled inspections. - Diagnoses and identifies probable locations of malfunctions from the cockpit during engine run-up.
