Amentum is immediately hiring qualified Aircraft Mechanic 3’s in support of U.S. Navy Aviation maintenance operations at NAS Oceana Virginia Beach, VA. VFA-106.

The Aircraft Mechanic 3 must have knowledge of the F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet aircraft and the ability to communicate with other aircraft mechanics across a wide variety of skillsets to include Power Plants, AirframeHydraulic Systems, Avionics, ALSS, Electrical, Navigation Systems, Environmental Control Systems, Corrosion, and Line Division Operations.

Additionally, the candidate will release aircraft Safe for Flight. It will be the responsibility of the Mech III to be able to efficiently attain the objectives and manage all actions to retain materials in a serviceable condition or restore them to serviceability.
