Position Overview
The **Avionics/Electronics Aircraft Mechanic I** is responsible for:
+ Performing maintenance checks on aircraft flight controls, stabilization systems, avionics and controlled cryptographic equipment.
+ Maintaining common/special tools and equipment.
+ Troubleshooting equipment and diagnose repairs.
+ Maintaining and testing of avionics and electrical systems with integration of complex software and hardware, including electrical power generation and distribution systems, integrated avionics systems and displaces, communication and navigation systems, mission equipment integration, sensors, and vehicle health monitoring systems.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Valid up-to-date **A&P license.**
+ If no A&P license, shall have Three (3) years aviation maintenance experience, Two (2) years rotary wing aircraft experience, and Two (2) years on the assigned MDS.
