**Description**

**Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities:**

+ Responsible for the leadership and management of the personnel assigned to the Maintenance Division.
+ Reports to the Site Manager.
+ Must be customer oriented.
+ Plan, coordinate, oversee, and direct all scheduled and unscheduled O-level, selected-I, and limited D-level maintenance of F-5 aircraft.
+ Be thoroughly familiar with OPNAVINST 4790.2 series maintenance publications.
+ Keep the Site Manager up to date on all maintenance department actions and make recommendations to ensure its efficient operation.
+ Schedule daily/weekly/monthly meetings as necessary with functional managers for the successful accomplishment of all maintenance actions.
+ Liaison as necessary and meet with customer representatives in support of aircraft maintenance.
+ Prepare and submit to the Site Manager recommendations for manpower, materials, facilities, and capital equipment.
