Position Overview
- Conduct extensive simulations to determine precise external aircraft design loads.
- Build and maintain low- and high-fidelity modeling frameworks to support comprehensive loads analysis.
- Create automated analysis frameworks to drive engineering cycle efficiencies.
- Develop non-linear actuator modeling tools to support Transport Canada certification mandates.
- Utilize a wide range of commercial and proprietary engineering environments, including a 6-DOF aircraft simulator.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (Aerospace specialization preferred).
- Deep aerospace industry experience focused directly on external loads analysis and nonlinear modeling.
- Solid understanding of aircraft flight dynamics, unsteady aerodynamics, and aeroelastic phenomena (flutter, LCO).
