Overview

The Fleet Engineer reports to the Airbus Technical Fleet Manager - Fleet Management and is responsible for the compliance of applicable CAR-AIR -OPS CAR M and CAR 145 requirements to ensure continuing airworthiness and maintain high aircraft safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Review all Airbus related Airworthiness Directives and mandatory Service Bulletins on the Etihad Airways Fleet to ensure that all mandatory modifications are assessed and all related actions are performed and complied with in a timely manner.
• Work with OEMs, MROs and internal departments to improve fleet reliability, on‑time performance and reduce cost.
• Create business cases for modifications and facilitate decision-making in the Modification Review Committee.
• Compile Engineering Orders, Special Checks and Additional Engineering Requirements for modification aircraft status assessment for reliability and safety issues.
