Position Overview
Purpose
To assist and direct the sales staff in the sale and distribution of certain market basket segments and all Strategic Business Unit products and services to achieve and sustain profitable growth.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and coordinate the sales and service activities of account specialists, to increase new business and retention in all product offerings.
- Select, train, develop, and coach team members, assess their performance, and provide recommendations on other human resource issues (e.g. promotions, transfers, salary administration and terminations).
- Manage regional sales operation for cost efficiency; continuously evaluate opportunities to reduce costs and improve operations; monitor and maintain expenses within approved budget.
- Manage relationship with key customer-area of responsibility.
- Develop or enable the development of new and expanding business opportunities.
