Role Overview

Advisor, National Resilience Policy (National Security & Resilience Group, DPMC) – Wellington‑based, permanent, full‑time. You will contribute to strengthening New Zealand’s national resilience by supporting cross‑government work on complex, system‑level challenges that affect our communities and economy.

Responsibilities

• Support the coordination and delivery of policy projects and cross‑government work programmes.
• Facilitate collaboration and information‑sharing across the national resilience system.
• Conduct research and analysis, synthesising insights from government, academia and international sources.
• Draft briefing notes, reports and ministerial material, contributing to policy advice and decision‑making.
• Identify emerging risks, trends and opportunities across the national resilience system.
