Major/Essential Functions
Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients, including health assessments, physical examinations, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions.Obtain detailed patient and family histories, interpret clinical data, and order/perform diagnostic tests such as labs, imaging, and EKGs.Perform therapeutic and preventive procedures including immunizations, injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.Develop and implement evidence-based patient care plans, document progress, and ensure continuity of care.Counsel and educate patients and families on treatment adherence, disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and developmental milestones.Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes.Provide emergency medical care when necessary, in alignment with clinical protocols and patient safety stand...
