Position Overview
Nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider who provides primary and/or specialty care in a variety of healthcare settings. Functions in collaboration with the health care team in accordance with certification and licensure. Practice emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems. Responsible for dissemination of knowledge through instructing, leading and developing educational programs.
_The Department of Hospital Medicine is looking to add a qualified Family/Adult-Geriatric/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Hospital Medicine team. In this role, the APRN/PA will work at the top of their license caring for patients at Hillcrest Hospital._
_This new role will require flexibility and includes both day coverage at our east side hospitals. Typical Hospital Medicine day shifts are 12hr (7am-7:30pm) & 8hr (7am-3:30pm)_
