An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated nurse to take on a newly established role as the Advanced Nurse Practitioner for the South London Cross Trust Amyloidosis Service Project, embedded within the Trust’s wider Inherited Cardiac Conditions (ICC) service. 

The objectives of the 12 month project are to improve the care of patients with cardiac amyloidosis by: 
• Developing and coordinating the clinical pathways to review and optimise patients with a suspected or confirmed diagnosis of cardiac amyloidosis. 
• Develop specialist clinics for rapid assessment of cardiac amyloidosis patients. 
• Provide and coordinate access to specialist diagnostics.
• Accelerating initiation of appropriate licensed treatments for those patients diagnosed with all forms of cardiac amyloidosis under the guidance of an expert clinician.
