Summary The H. John Heinz III VA Medical Center - Pittsburgh, PA, Beaver Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) is recruiting for Advanced Medical Support Assistant positions in Primary Care for the start of FY27. The AMSA is responsible for scheduling and managing patient appointments, answering clinic phones, checking Veterans in and out for appointments, and directing all Veterans and visitors to the building. Responsibilities The Advanced MSA provides specialized and expert administrative patient support while working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary coordinated care delivery model. Work involves specialized administrative judgment and the flexible use of a wide range of clinical flow processes relating to access to care across multiple clinics, specialties, and /or care in the community resources.
