**Job Description:**

**Primary Responsibilities:**

+ Will analyze and research engineering problems, participate in equipment or product design, test materials, devices, or machines and prepare specifications/documentation
+ Develop and document automation design standards per best practices.
+ Lead a cross functional team for Automation FATs and SATs
+ Support and provide feedback during design development on DFMs, ROM pricing, and quoting of automation equipment
+ Provide feedback to cross functional team on new automation status and condition.
+ APQP Responsibility: Develop Process Flow, PFMEA, and Standard Work Instructions for automation processes.
+ Review internal cost breakdowns to ensure standard practices are adhered to.
+ Support the capital acquisition requests for programs requiring additional assets.
+ Support Annual and Long-Range Planning of Capital Asset acquisition (1 -5 years).
