The opportunity at JPOCSC involves working with a dedicated group of epileptologists to enhance the regional epilepsy program. You'll be involved in developing multidisciplinary strategies for complex epilepsy cases, including tuberous sclerosis complex and epileptic encephalopathies. A key part of this role includes assessing young adults with newly diagnosed epilepsy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized care for patients moving from pediatric to adult services
• Develop multidisciplinary programs for complex epilepsy conditions
• Assess young adults with first seizures and new epilepsy diagnoses
• Support the operationalization of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at SMH
• Deliver outpatient clinic services at JPOCSC
