Summary This position is located at the Guantanamo Bay Veterinary Treatment Facility. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Responsibilities Serves as the point of contact for the day-to-day front office operations of a veterinary clinic. Coordinates with clinic management to establish clinic schedule and appointment availability. Receives telephone calls and visitors to the clinic, determines the nature of call or visit, obtains identifying information, and verifies the patient's eligibility for treatment. Updates the existing medical record or collects sufficient information to prepare new record. Provides concise accurate information to veterinary care provider on nature of the visit. Dispenses medications, annotates prescriptions and refills prescriptions in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Serves as clinic ordering official and Government Purchase Cardholder.
