We are looking for a Ward Clerk to join our Maternity ward working a combination of 11.5 hour shifts Monday to Sunday (07:00 to 19:30). Shifts on Rothschild. The successful candidate will be welcoming the mothers on admission and supporting midwives, doctors and maternity support workers with their administration and discharge paperwork. 

Main duties of the job

The post holders would need to provide a courteous, efficient and professional ward clerk service, making a valuable contribution to support patient care from the time of admission, transfer or discharge. The successful candidates would be the first contact point for all ward visitors and members of the multi-professional team so good interpersonal skills are essential.
