Location
The position is located in the Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean (RLC) in Santiago, Chile.
Main Purpose
The Administrative Assistant (Finance) coordinates and performs the full range of office support, management support and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office.
Key Functions/Results
- Maintain financial records, monitor office systems, reconcile expenditures, manage petty cash, and oversee project account responsibilities.
- Retrieve, enter and analyze data from FAO systems and databases, verify accuracy, and perform necessary calculations.
- Verify availability of funds and ensure expenditures comply with approved budgets and documentation requirements.
