Role Summary
The Administrative Team Leader is responsible for providing day-to-day supervision and coordination of the Ophthalmology admission and Ophthalmology administration team, ensuring the efficient management of patient admission processes for elective and planned surgical procedures. The post holder will support the delivery of a high-quality, patient-centred administrative service, ensuring that admissions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with Trust policies, NHS standards, and service objectives. The role involves overseeing workloads, supporting staff development, monitoring performance, and acting as a key point of contact for administrative and operational queries within the service.
