Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day admin for the workshop, track jobs, stock, and make sure compliance and safety records are up to date.
- Job scheduling*: Book jobs, assign technicians, update work orders in the system.
- Supplier liaison*: Communicate with suppliers on job status, quotes, and collections.
- Inventory & procurement*: Track tools, parts, and consumables. Raise POs when stock is low.
- Documentation*: Log job cards, service reports, invoices, orders.
- Compliance & safety*: Maintain safety files, training records, and ensure PPE.
- Reporting*: Pull weekly/monthly reports on job turnaround times, costs, and technician productivity.
- System admin*: Pastel & Excel.
Requirements
- Matric + admin diploma or certificate. NQF Level 5 in Office Admin/Business Admin is a plus.
- 1-3 years admin experience, ideally in a technical/engineering environment.
