Position Overview
The Annenberg School of Journalism at the University of Southern California seeks a highly qualified adjunct instructor to teach PR 508: Public Relations and Advertising Fundamentals and Strategy.
This course introduces graduate students to s trategies and practices in the field of public relations and advertising, including landmark cases and current practices; special emphasis is placed on historical roots and our proprietary planning model. Experience in agency, corporate, non-profit, or government PR/Advertising is preferred. Because of the lockstep nature of our curriculum, willingness to adhere to the established class curriculum is required.
Requirements for consideration include a B.A., B.S., M.S., or an M.A. degree in a related field. Previous teaching experience is desirable. For some courses, outstanding professional experience may be substituted for academic credentials.
