Position Overview

Position Summary:
The Department of Biology at North Central College invites applications for an adjunct faculty position to teach BIOL 317: Animal Behavior during the Spring 2026 semester. This course includes both a lecture and laboratory component and serves as an advanced elective for Biology majors.

+ Lecture: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9:20–10:10 a.m.

+ Laboratory: Tuesday, 8:30–11:30 a.m.

+ Semester Dates: January 5 – April 24, 2026, with a final exam scheduled between April 27–30.


Candidates should hold at least a master’s degree in biology or a closely related discipline and have prior teaching experience. A Ph.D. or ABD (Ph.D. candidate) is preferred.
