Position Summary

Adjunct faculty at Stevenson University will engage in teaching activities in accordance with the University’s faculty workload policies. Teaching responsibilities will include teaching courses in the Graduate Nursing Program. Education/Experience Doctoral degree in nursing or a related field with a current registered nursing license, a strong commitment to quality teaching, and two years of college level teaching experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience teaching online preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Ability

Knowledge of curriculum development; educational theory, strategies, and evaluation; and/or advanced pharmacology, pathophysiology; and physical assessment.

Demonstrated teaching ability in the areas of Nursing Education, Nursing Leadership/Management, Population Health Nursing, or Forensic Nursing.

Ability to instruct students of varying preparation and abilities.
