Widener University’s Biomedical Engineering Department is currently seeking highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses including but not limited to biomechanics, thermodynamics, cell and tissue engineering, biomaterials, bioinstrumentation, and regulatory and manufacturing processes.
Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 to 3 courses each semester on an “as needed” basis. Courses available for adjunct staffing are offered during the day. Adjunct faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s); prepare course materials, be available to meet with students outside of regularly scheduled class time, and provide support and guidance to students.
