Job Summary:
This is a temporary, 6-month training program in collaboration with NYS OASAS and Crouse Addiction Treatment Services.
Carries out duties and responsibilities per legal requirements under the Registered Nurse Scope of Practice, with emphasis on leading a culture of safe care.
Responsible for all activities requiring assessment, planning, diagnosing, evaluating, judgment, problem-solving, creating and implementing the plan of care. Administers prescribed medications in accordance with policies and procedures of the organizations. Provides appropriate education to patients and families to promote health, facilitate rehabilitation and maintain wellness. Evaluates effectiveness revising appropriately.
