Northwest Specialty Hospital, an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, brings expanded services to a new building located at 6225 Sharlands Ave. in Northwest Reno. The facility will offer acute rehabilitation and adult behavioral health services. This Physical Therapist opportunity is per diem and offers a convenient day shift schedule. This position is for our NEW 22 bed Acute Rehab Hospital in Northwest Reno.

Responsibilities include evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical/occupational therapy modalities of treatment for patients during their acute rehab stay. Therapists administer treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability from diagnoses such as stroke, amputation, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury.
