As an Activities Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will deliver imaginative, fun and varied activities to ensure our residents can enjoy an environment that is motivational and fulfilling. You will help each individual pursue the interests they enjoy most, making a real impact on their lives. Your role involves delivering an entertainment and activities programme that covers a wide range of pastimes, social activities, outings and events, and supporting residents to live independently while enhancing their involvement with family, friends and the local community.
While you do not need specific experience, you should have a sense of fun, creativity, and the ability to encourage and motivate others.
