Summary of Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the HIP Program Manager, and with functional guidance from the Youth Prevention Services Coordinator, the Youth Prevention Specialist is responsible for delivering youth‑centered HIV, STI, and HCV prevention and intervention services. This role engages young people ages 13–24 through individual and group education, risk‑reduction counseling, and sexual health promotion. The Specialist supports a trauma‑informed, culturally responsive approach and helps ensure that youth receive accurate information, client‑centered guidance, and supportive navigation to medical, behavioral health, and social services.
