Key Duties

Carry out accuracy checking of dispensed items (controlled drugs) whilst adhering to the company's standard operating procedures (SOPs)Supervise the dispensary team to ensure everyone is carrying out their jobs correctly.Reviewing prescription requirements and liaising with the clinic and prescribers to resolve any issuesAnswer queries on the supply and availability of medicines as well as answering queries of a routine pharmaceutical nature and know when it is appropriate to refer a patient to the Responsible with counselling patients on their medication and patient engagement to the that Patient Medication Records (PMR's) are maintained accurately to ensure patient safety and accurate record of supply whilst complying with current data protection requirements.Liaising with other healthcare professionals to assist in the continuity of patient care and streamline the prescription process.Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of medicines by reading j...
