Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Chatham, New Jersey in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This on-site position offers the opportunity to support daily payables operations in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy, organization, and timely payment processing. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience managing invoices, disbursements, and financial records while working comfortably with QuickBooks Online and basic Excel tools.

Responsibilities:
• Process a high volume of vendor invoices and ensure all entries are recorded accurately in the accounting system.
• Review and assign proper account codes to payable transactions to maintain organized and accurate financial records.
• Prepare and execute check runs and electronic payments in accordance with payment schedules and company procedures.
