The Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all invoices and payments to suppliers and vendors. The AP Accountant plays a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by adhering to company policies and procedures and managing cash flow efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing:
- Receive, review, and verify invoices for proper documentation, accuracy, and approval.
- Payment Processing:
- Prepare and process weekly payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Coordinate with the treasury department to ensure available funds for payments.
- Manage payment schedules and ensure that payments are made on time.
