Position: Accounts Officer – Taxation
Location: Karachi
Experience: 4–5 Years
Qualification: B.Com / ICMA
Key Responsibilities
Preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (Income Tax and Sales Tax)
Preparation of tax working papers and supporting documentation
Drafting responses to tax notices issued for monitoring, audit, and other proceedings
Handling withholding tax compliance as per regulatory requirements
Managing employee payroll taxation and statutory compliance
Maintaining proper tax records and documentation
Assisting in tax reconciliations and tax compliance reporting
Coordinating with relevant authorities regarding tax matters when required
Handling tax notices issued by the FBR and SRB, including matters related to withholding taxes monitoring, filing of statements, quarterly advance income tax and audits.
