Position Overview
Job Description - Responsible for full set of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing
- Handle AP functions - manage payment processing of suppliers, 3rd party and inter-company invoices/billings
- Handle AR functions - billings, issue statement of accounts and credit notes, maintain project contracts
- Prepare month end journals, input journal entries into QuickBooks
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset sub-ledger to general ledger
- Prepare and file GST returns
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
- Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
- Prepare financial management reports
- Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
