We're supporting a successful SME based in Peterborough as they look to bring in an Accounts Assistant to support their finance team through a period of transition. This job opportunity is available on a full-time, 3-month temporary basis.
Your new role
This is a fast-paced finance role where your primary responsibilities will be accounts payable focused, including processing purchase invoices, reconciling supplier statements and undertaking bank reconciliations. There will be an element of inventory work involved in the role too, whilst also supporting the wider finance team with administrative duties as required.
What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant who has strong purchase ledger experience, who can hit the ground running in a busy role. Previous experience of using Sage 50 would be a bonus but is not essential.
