Position Overview
Our client, an accountancy practice in Bexhill, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their office on a part-time basis.
Duties & Responsibilities
β’ Prepare service charge accounts - collate records from managing agents and self-managed blocks, ensuring all expenditure is correctly allocated to the appropriate schedule or cost category.
β’ Review junior/trainee work - check accuracy of accounts prepared by trainees before issuing drafts to clients for approval and adjustment requests.
β’ Produce dormant company accounts - prepare and submit dormant company accounts using IRIS software, ensuring compliance and timely filing.
β’ Prepare draft accounts - compile complete draft sets of service charge accounts in Excel, ready for client review.
β’ Verify invoices - check that all invoices relate to the correct client, are addressed properly, and are suitable for inclusion in the accounts.
