Responsibilities As an ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN (TITLE 32), GS-0525-08, you will perform fact finding, research, and investigations to identify, analyze and recommend solutions regarding fiscal accounting activity; examine accounts or resolve difficult reconciliations requiring an analysis of adjustments and corrections in accounts; reconstruct inaccurate accounts, gather and organize information for inquiries and resolve problems referred by managers, employees, congressional inquiries, etc.; coordinate with internal/external financial/program management personnel to resolve issues and/or prevent accounting errors; research, interpret, analyze, and apply regulations, policies, procedures and legal dec...
