Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and updating financial records, including the general ledger.
- Reconciling bank statements, cash disbursement accounts, payroll, and customer accounts.
- Processing invoices, entering details into a database, and checking receipts against expenses.
- Preparing and filing tax returns, including quarterly sales tax returns and VAT returns.
- Preparing documentation for external auditors.
- Monitoring company expenses, practicing cost-saving habits, and recommending ways to reduce costs.
- Coordinating with software vendors to maintain accounting software systems and recommending updates.
- Identifying trends and opportunities to improve team performance.
- Assisting with the overall financial management of the company.
Qualifications
- With a bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Financial Management, Accounting Technology and any related course.
