Position Overview
- Financial Record Keeping
- Maintain and update accounting records, journals, and ledgers.
- Ensure proper recording of all financial transactions in the accounting software.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process invoices and payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Prepare and send invoices to customers and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Reconciliation:
- Perform monthly bank and cash reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Reconcile accounts receivable and payable balances to ensure proper recording.
- Payroll Support:
- Assist in processing payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.
- Tax Filing Support:
- Help in preparing tax returns and ensure tax compliance.
- Assist in generating reports for internal and external audits.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Microsoft Excel).
