We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our client in Dublin, Ohio in a contract role with the potential to become permanent. This position supports daily accounting operations across payables, reconciliations, and general ledger activity while helping maintain accurate financial records for a retail-focused environment. The role also offers exposure to payroll, benefits administration, month-end close, and selected reporting tasks, making it a strong fit for someone who enjoys hands-on transactional accounting work.


Responsibilities:

• Review and balance prior-day store closing activity to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and discrepancies are resolved promptly.

• Process incoming invoices each day, maintain accounts payable records, and respond to accounting-related questions from store locations.
