Summary The Accounting Officer ensures the accuracy of fiscal accounts across two campuses and multiple clinics. The incumbent supervises up to 16 staff and manages complex, integrated accounting functions, including budgetary, cost, trust, and construction accounting for diverse medical programs and affiliated operations. Responsibilities Major Duties: - Oversees daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate transaction entry, problem analysis, financial reporting, and preparation of analytical reports. - Extracts, analyzes, and formats financial data using systems such as RSD, VISTA, FMS, and iFAMS; maintains and develops Excel and Access tools for reporting. - Performs and supervises complex financial reconciliations, including general ledger, equipment, pharmacy, patient funds, and environmental liabilities. - Supervises accounting staff, ensuring coverage, communication, coaching, training, and performance monitoring; resolves complex issues requiring independent judgment. - Mana...
