Aston Carter's large client in Vancouver is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team! This individual will oversee a team, and will be involved in managing annual and monthly accounting activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP and client policies, and liaising with various stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

+ Direct supervision of 3-4 accounting staff.

+ Manage annual activities such as property budgets, cash flow forecasting, final operating cost recovery adjustments, annual property taxes, and property audits.

+ Oversee the completion of monthly activities including month-end closing, cash flows, and monthly reporting.

+ Review monthly and annual property accounting activities to ensure deadlines, GAAP standards, and client requirements are met.

+ Coordinate with property site staff, leasing staff, management, and clients.
