Position Overview
The Accounting Manager oversees the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role is a blend of high-level financial oversight and hands-on management, responsible for maintaining internal controls, streamlining financial processes, and providing leadership to the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
General Ledger Management: Monitor and analyze ledger accounts to ensure accurate reporting and timely reconciliation.
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and train accounting staff (AR, AP, and Payroll) to ensure professional development and operational efficiency.
