Accounting Clerk – Toronto

This position is for a team player who is proactive with a strong work ethic, can handle a busy workload, and who has a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have a strong client service focus, the ability to multi‑task, solid analytical and organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out accounts payable including posting invoices, issuing cheques, and reconciling outstanding invoices in accordance with client and firm guidelines.
• Accounts receivable tasks such as charging clients credit cards and posting cheque and electronic payments.
• Post disbursements such as Copitrak, BC Online, LTSA and levies.
• Take on trust‑related tasks including depositing and disbursing trust funds in accordance with Law Society rules.
• Prepare and review draft bills and finalize invoices.
