Description
We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our client in the York, PA area. This position works closely with finance, sales, customer service, and operations to help keep transactions accurate, customer issues resolved, and reporting activities on schedule. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage several priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and service.
Responsibilities:
• Review customer account standing, payment history, and credit availability
• Compile and verify sales information
• Support freight claim processing by gathering required backup documentation, coordinating with carriers and internal departments, and tracking claims through completion.
