Our Client, an Automotive Components company, is looking for an Accountant for their McAllen, TX location. Responsibilities:

+ Compiles and analyzes inventories, COGS (sales basis), and manufacturing costs.

+ Reconcile inventories from sub-ledger to G/L, including preparing proper journal entries.

+ Review inventory sub-ledgers.

+ Understand and analysis system linkage, as we use 2 independent system, GMS (inventories) and ORACLE (financial accounting).

+ Understand procedures and controls over inventories and report to management any missing or deficiencies in controls.

+ Communicate with other departments to figure out issues over inventories.

+ Perform statistical analyses to determine trends, estimates, and significant changes, and write narrative report.
