Senior Accountant

Overview

Our client is seeking a hands‑on Senior Accountant to support and strengthen their accounting function. This role is ideal for an experienced accountant who enjoys broad responsibility, takes ownership of the close process, and thrives in a collaborative, problem‑solving environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Own and execute core accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, accruals, and general ledger activity

+ Prepare, review, and post complex journal entries

+ Perform and review balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, researching and resolving variances

+ Play a key role in the month‑end close, including timelines, accuracy, and reporting support

+ Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals

+ Ensure accounting activities comply with internal controls and accounting standards
