Accountant Position

My client is a leading production supplier, seeking an experienced hands-on Accountant to join their team, based in Maitland, Cape Town. Your key focus will be on creditors, procurement, stock management, and management accounts. Strong communication, teamwork, multitasking, and numeracy skills are required for this role. Responsibilities:

1. Full function weekly and monthly creditors
2. Procurement of stock items, management of stock planning and record keeping
3. Forex payments and foreign exchange compliance
4. Perform accounting function up to management accounts
5. Prepare year-end journals, Income statement, and balance sheet for other companies in the group as required
6. Assistance with cash flow forecasting and planning
