Accountant Position

The RMI is the largest employers' and business representative organisation in the South African Retail motor industry, with more than 8500 member establishments covering all sectors of the retail motor industry, as well as the vehicle body building and component manufacturing sectors. We are currently looking for an Accountant to join our organisation. This position will be based in Gauteng (Midrand).

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient management of all finance activities and related reconciliations on the full trial balance of the RMI and Associations. Responsibilities include keeping strict and appropriate records to run both internal and external audits, statutory payments on behalf of RMI, balancing all accounts, resolution of all tax-related queries, and maintaining full records related to vendors including BBBEE and POPIA compliance.
