Job Opportunity: Junior Accountant

A company based in Edenvale is searching for a driven junior accountant to join our dynamic team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Calculate material requirements for products to be manufactured.
• Carry out the necessary research on materials.
• Create new product codes, load all material requirements, and create relevant documents per item (e.g. Job cards).
• Ensure all costs of materials are up to date.
• Assist with client quotations and generate WO.
• Ensure creditors information is kept up to date and reconciled.
• Follow up on debtors.
• Knowledge of VIP payroll.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 3 - 4 years experience with Pastel Evolution.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel formulas.
