About This Job

The Accountant is responsible for preparing journal entries and maintaining the Company’s general ledger and third‑party transactions, assisting in designing controls for the Company’s SOX program. The role also covers ad‑hoc accounting, internal controls and regulatory compliance, technical research, accrual analysis, and reconciliation activities.

• Reconcile GL accounts, including clearing any reconciling items
• Prepare various month‑end schedules to assist with closing the books
• Prepare quarterly SEC and Call Report schedules
• Review GL accounts and work‑breakdown structures for reasonableness
• Post journal entries
• Assist with ad‑hoc reporting and analysis
• Assist with correcting problems discovered with the posting of loan activity
