Description We are looking for an Accountant to join a nonprofit organization in Los Angeles, California on a Contract basis. This role will contribute to daily accounting operations, support accurate financial reporting, and help maintain strong fiscal oversight across the organization. The ideal candidate brings hands-on accounting experience, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities:
• Record financial activity in the general ledger and create journal entries that support accurate month-to-month reporting.
• Contribute to monthly and annual close activities by organizing account data, reviewing transactions, and helping finalize reporting packages.
• Reconcile banking activity and key balance sheet accounts to ensure records remain complete and accurate.
